2022 March 18 - Simple dish

Cold Tofu Recipe:
Ingredients :
1. 1 block of silky tofu
2. Sauce (1 tablespoon soya sauce, 1 tablespoon dashi/water, 1 teaspoon sesame oil)
3.1 tablespoon of bonito flakes
4. some seaweed strips
Method:
Just place the block of tofu on the plate, drizzle the sauce and top with the bonito flakes and seaweeds.
Plate (hand thrown):
Clay : Terra-cotta
Glaze : Tenmoku
Firing : Electrical kiln @1250℃

I will work even harder to prepare for the future events. To share my joy, the proceeds made from this event had been donated to my favorite charity ST School Pocket Money Fund. I wish kids from low income family could enjoy their school days like everyone else.
My first foray to showcase and sell my works to the public. It was quite an experience. Friends and families have been supportive. The joyous moment though was some random stranger took a interest to take my work home!

Most of the Nerikomi works were made during the Covid-19 lockdown. They were sold probably because my stall was the only one who sell such items. On top of that, "Infinity #01" was sold as well.

One of my old friends bought "Trinity #01". Thanks to her, I could visit "Trinity #01" whenever she invites me over :).
Trinity #01 is very special to me as the pattern was difficult to draw on a greenware. The interlocking lines were then carved out and filled with black slip.
